2002 Dodga Dakota Quad Cab

http://fiberglassforums.com/showthre...680#post159680

Probably gonna be a lond build, not that there is much going on, just time and money.

Complete Install. Starting with the amp.
Rear seat removed.

Plastic and rear campet removed

Door pressure vents gone and seat hold downs gone.

Here is the carpet in the back wall. The red squares I will have to remove so the amps will lay flat.

That is it for now.

I pulled the carpet.

Cut the humps

Taped the front, then taped the back to get rid of the stickyness of the tape and waxed.

Glassed and tape pulled about an hour later. This is the front side. I was gonna re carpet it tonight, but I got no glue.

But now I got a nice flat spot for my amp

Didn't get as much done tonight as I wanted.

The squares I cut out I reused to make raceways for the wiring to my amp.

New carpet on, just need to be trimmed.

Next I have to take the bed off the truck to do some welding, but I have to drive it thursday, so I prob won't get much done till this weekend.

Welder pooped out. Riveted the rest on and used some body sealer, but didnt take any pics of that. Got the amp pretty much installed, screwed up the carpet, so when I take it out to wire it I have to re carpet it. Now just waiting on wire, and rcas to show. Comp set come in tuesday so gonna start doors this week.

I had to drill out the mounting holes as I used 1/4-20 allthread welded to the cab to mount it. Still have to get 2 more 1/4-20 nuts.

Removed the rings from the doors to start over pretty much. Decided I need to make a base I can screw from the back.

So I am back to this stage.

Taped up

Layed flat I did the top and let it dry.

Hung on door, and bolted in stock locations so I know the panel is how it is spose to be. Finished all the sides.

Here I have layed the first layer and let it completely dry. Here I am now adding 2 layers. Ran out of resin, but I placed a order so I hope to get this week.

Just waiting for my order so I can continue and do the other side.
