just fyi..

the rings that are screwed to the tp of the rings that are a part of the box will form part of the fibreglass cover panel that will sit over everything and ill eventually frame around the amps and this will be fleeced to aswell..

so basically you remove the subs screws, take the subs out and remove the whole cover off the rear of the car... those boxes wont be touched any further then they are.. the cover panel will be trimmed and have painted inserts done in there aswell as some other bits and peices..

cheers, thanks for looking,

Brad..

hi guys.. ive been on holidays for the past few weeks.. so i got abit of work done on the mazda, in between doing a couple of jobs for friends of mine.. here it is as it sits now.. im working on it tomorrow too, so ill post pics tomorrow night... its getting there finally..

abit rushed at times, and this is evident by the mis calculation i made, when setting up the mdf amp panels.. one of them was 10mm out.. lop sided.. but i was able to fix it, and once the amps are mounted youll never know it was even like that...

so anyways, heres the car, and the seats are in now.. getting all the fab work done, then wiring, then trimming everything and putting it together = finished....

heres some more updated pics guys.. enjoy.. any questions, feel free to ask...

the speakers are focals, they are mounted the same way as the fronts, with an mdf baffle, and the door trim pops off leaving the mid in place still...

thinking of things to do to the rear of the car, in the hatch area, as i feel its looking abit plain and boring still.. any advice, thoughts, comments, PLEASE comment and tell me what you would do if it were your car... i have alot of thoughts on this, but keep chainging my mind...

i was thinking about a bridge type set up, with some splits built into it, so it would be a sealed tube style pod, volume wouldnt matter too much, as long as its big enough, i can always fill it abit... but it would be sealed.. other then that, i was just thinking perhaps some insert trim panels to break up the trim areas?? thoughts on this pls??

thanks for looking,

Brad..
