Motorcyle Carbon Parts. Check it Out!!!

Well I have decided to take on a few small projects for my GSXR1000. After watching big poppa add the carbon fiber to his project I decided what the hell I'm gonna give it a shot. So I ordered so yellow/black carbon kevlar hybrid from usc and the table top kleer koat epoxy resin. Over the next couple of weeks I will be trying to remake some of my factory pieces out of my hybrid material. Oh yeah by the way my bike is black and yellow. I have already begun on one small piece and this will be the determining factory if I shall continue on to other piece or not. I will post a few pics up later on of my bike and progress pics. Oh yeah any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would simply put a plastic material over the stock piece, and then lay the CF over that. Are you using the procedure in which you such out all of the air with a plastic bag and vacuum? If so, this would mold the new CF piece exactly like the stocker. then just pull apart when done.

Looks good. Is using CF a very similar process to FG?
