rising glue

hey guys I have just one part left to my box which i will be posting pictures to soon..i would like to attach fleece .. the wood i used on this part was quater inch so stappling really isnt an option ..i was going to glue gun it. but after reading on here i had herd that it would just lift off from the curing heat....is this ture.. if so what other options are there?

CA is great. also you can staple into 1/4", just use shorter staples!

i take it this is true about the glue rising off?.....crazy glue sounds good...dont want to have to worrie about the wood cracking is the main reason

In most cases, that is true, but for "hot glue", I'm not sure (I don't think it is)... I know (as do others) that the 3M spray glue will just lift up as soon as resin hits it, but CA glue (not "crazy glue") WILL absolutely hold up... Also, what Mordachai said, use shorter staples, and you shouldn't have a problem with the wood splitting.

Crazy glue/Super Glue are actually CA Glue too. So is the little fake nail tubes you ladies buy for doing your nails up, I actually use it all the time to build model cars, one tube usually does one whole model!


PS: When you coming back to MI? Did you do any more thinkin' about the tattoo??

LOL, yeah, I forgot about that part...

They're telling us we'll be home at the end of July, but then again, they told us the end of March, too... I still want the tattoo when I get back, it's just a matter of when I'll be back... I guess whenever the Marines get tired of me bitching about going home, they'll actually let me...
