Need help with broken lug nuts, can't get off

Okay well I had tires put on my car a few weeks ago and had them rotate my tires, well they used a impact gun to tighten my lug nuts on. Well I went the other day to take off my rims to put my stock rims and tires on and I couldn't, the kid tightened them way to tight and I broke two of the lug nuts off. The studs didn't brake, the lug nuts them selfs did, well I tried drilling small holes around the broken lug nuts and still they won't come out. Also I used a torch and heated the back side and blew off the ends on the studs. I'm lost, I tried beating them out and they won't budge at all, if anyone has any ideas on what is can do to get then broken wheel nuts out I'd be so happy. I can't take my wheel off at all, if I get a flat I'm screwed, I took the car to a garage and they wanted 100bucks to get them out, I'm not paying 100bucks, that's not even right to charge someone that price. I really need some help to get them off. If anyone has any clue please help, thank you.

I tell customers all the time and remember this:

You are paying me for what I know, not what I do.

Having said that. They now how to get those borken lugs off. They have the tools to do it. Is it really not worth your time and trouble to pay them to handle this for you?

It may not be, so you can keep on trying to find an internet solution. Good luck.

I dont have time to take it there, by the time I get off work they are closed and not there, I cant miss a day of work to take it there, they didnt brake the lug nut off, I did, they just put them on to tight, but even if I take it there, they are ganna say, well you should have brought the car back when you wanted the tires off and we could have done it, then if we would have broken them, then we would have fixed them, I know they want fix the problem. It sucks so bad, I like tryed all day to get the stuped things out, an i got alot done, but still they are stuck in there. I guess I have to like ruin the wheel just to get it off, I'm so pissed right now, I just want to destroy things. I did brake the lug nuts off myself, so it is my problem, but I really need help on getting them off, If I had tools then it would be a differant story, I can do my own work on just about anything, just dont got the tools I need to do this job. Very upsetting, Idk Im willing to pay 50 bucks if someone can get them off, but I will not pay a garage 100bucks to do it, I allready almost have them off now, a few more hours and I may just get them off by myself, but who knows.

like everyone has said i'd just take it back to the garage tell them to sort it, u say u broke them i'd be more inclined to say the kid who turned the impact gun to high did. Way i look it is this how much is a days work worth if its more than 100bucks bite the bullet an pay the garage otherwise take the day off an take it back.

Whenever we have a lug that won't come off, we find a socket that is a hair too small to fit it. Then go to the store and buy a cheap one of that size. Don't want to ruin a good socket. Then hammer it on over the lug. Usually lugs are semi soft, so you can force a smaller socket onto them to get some bite.

Since the threads are somewhat exposed now, I would hit it with a good penetrating spray. I personally use PB Blaster but not sure where all its sold at in your area. I would let it sit for about an hour before I hosed it down with penetrating spray again. Then that combined with the smaller socket usually does the trick. Or the stud breaks.

if its broken off past the hex head (like it looks like it is), blast it with penetrating oit (like PB Blaster), then take a small chisel and drive it into the remainder of the lug nut. as stated before, lug nuts are generally fairly soft. use the notch that you just cut to brace the chisel, angle it up, and use your hammer braced on the notch to spin the nut loose. This method tends to be a pain in the ass, but when all else fails it can be a saving grace.
